Sunday morning slow heater. Gets ya where you're going
Since the first time I put a record on a turntable in 1997, I've wanted to play an all night techno set if I found the right circumstances. The right circumstances came to me. From the Cirque du Trash Rave dome at That Thing At The Cabin. Some of you were in the dome, some of you were outside the time, some of you were sleeping and woke up to dance, some of you cursed my name and put in your earplugs. Starts out hard and dark and goes all the way into a psychedelic sunrise. Maybe the best and worst set I've ever done. We had fun.
techno, tech house, minimal techno, deep tech house
down the rabbithole
one of my first mixes and still one of my favorites. WINTER SOLSTICE 2008 - Down the Rabbithole (distortion+delay mix) -for matthew and marcel- do you remember your first time? do you remember who you were with? another glitch-hop mix all chopped screwed glitched and, this time around, slathered with trance and dark ambient – where else are you going to find too short, public enemy, digweed, dubfire, glitch mob side projects, khia, and excerpts from Pi and Japanese horror movies in the same mix? get yourself up the creek without a paddle, finding your way home is half the fun. mostly mixed while curled up in bed under the influence of the flu. turntables are for those who lack imagination.
Sweet little mix starting with the Talking Heads and making its way through some minimal techno, some tech house, some Doomtree instrumentals, some Cody ChestnuTT, and ending with some psychedelic chill-out
minimal, tech house, hip hop instrumental, psychedelic
